u need to install the 1.1 or 1.2 update (which ever one u had when u saved that BAL file)

now getting really annoyed im not skipping matches or anything im in season 2016-2017 and still crap teams make me offers not one decent one st etteine are now 3rd in the rankings overall clubs, but no big teams want me think i might just start over and see how that one goes........

join a club that plays in the same league as your beloved spurs ie the english league it will make it a bit easyer for spurs to come in for you..unless spurs now think that you are just too good to want to play for them!!!!

BAL mode is very attractive,but in terms of good AI it's REALLY SUCKS.c'mon guys,tell me how you can score 3 own goals in CL semi final against FULHAM(i've played in english league) or get 3 red cards against MU in the final???sometimes it feels like you playing against 21 player.but PES itself is a very good game with fantastic graphics.

National games

Hi guys!

I have some questions about the national call-up.
Which tournaments are available? When do they take place?

It seems to be damn hard to get called-up. I just finished a great
season for Torino: scored 18 goals, average rating 6,4, MVP 9 times
made it into the League´s best eleven. Still no national call-up... :huh:
I´m Swedish, play SS/CF/AMF

Also, I read something about training sessions. What? I can´t find any
training mode in the BAL. No training games either.. Maybe it´s because I´m mostly in the starting line-up or on the bench? Or is it because I play on PS2?

you will be called for national game in mid-season negotiations and end of season. these arent reguraly year after year and are quite random for how i see it.

you will participate in the world cup qualifiers and the actual tuornament. you will also play in area cups, for you (sweden) it will be the euro cup.
with the stats you showed i can assume yu will be called soon.

you dont have any training modes in BAL (we all want it by 2010), but- if you didn't make the bench or the opening team, tou will play a training match within your team. you probably did this and this is exactly like a regular match but you get less points and doesnt have the effect of a real game.

I'm into my 4th season now and still haven't gotten any match experience points what so ever. Anyone know why? My team made it to the European cup final and didn't even get any for that!

I've just noticed that while playing BAL, my team has never been given a penalty. I'm currently listed as the penalty taker but have never had the chance to take one.
Has anyone else been given penalties?

I'm on my fourth season now in BAL and Ive seen quite a bit of fouls inside the box with the appropriated responses from the ref, ie penalty shots and attacker's fouls
the worrying thing to me has been the fact that Ive taken a few of our penalties altho my stats are about the worst of any in my team :S
Ive only once scored in penalties so far.
Weird that you havent experienced penalties at all so far, you must not dripple inside the box much Im guessing.

Great thread, some questions regarding rating:

Do the following actions effect your game rating negatively?

-Losing possession while on the ball
-Playing through-ball to team mate who is offside
-Being caught offside
-Missing the target badly while shooting
-Calling for the ball too often/ when in a poor position to receive the pass
