nahh they wouldnt put one of the best aspects of the new game only on ps2 it would be more likely putting it on the next gen consoles as there is no point of them having what makes pes2009 differant from any other pes on just ps2's which are reasonably old.

^I hope what you're saying is true. They would say that in that information that they gave (few Iknow but they would have mentioned that it would be exclusive to a console).I don't think it would be exclusive especially on ps2. Ps2 is really getting outdated now so there's no reason to be a new mode a ps2 exclusive.

This is for the WE11 series which to my knowledge is not out on the PS3 (should do a search now but can not be bothered) this is why it would be only on the PS2..for the moment, 99% sure that it will be in the next gen versions

PES2009 was playtested by various sources on the PlayStation 3, Become A Legend was among the main positive talking points. The question isn't whether it'll feature on the PS3, that's a given, however you have to ask; will it feature on the PS2?
