on pes 08, i was playing a world cup with germany.it was the quarter finals against some european team, i had a corner, schweinsteiger crosses it in and it gets headed out to schneider. i can't remember if the ball was rolling toward him or if he struck it on the volley, but it flew right in the top left corner, absolute sublime, i was watchin the replay for about 5 mins. it clipped the underside of the bar slightly and if it had been anymore to the left it would have hit the post, my best goal ever, my bro said he scored the best goal but when i showed him that one he was speechless lol.

I gotta agree about the free kicks not being as special as they used to be. I remember curling some beauties in my ML team on PES5 with Beckham... oh the memories.

I've found it much easier to take free kick shots in PES2009, my very first free kick was with Ronaldo which was about 15 yards out and curled straight into the top left corner.

Still... it was a better feeling that any FIFA09 goal I've done :)

in terms of free kicks it doesn't quite have the same rewarding factor, i haven't scored one for a while though to be honest, at least the computer dont score from free kicks as frequently as last years game

just scored a nice lob. Was quite far out just saw keeper of his line, thought why not, keeper didn't even dive for it.

My best sofar is with my legend. I started a move off just at the center circle with a give and go, and continued my run all the way to the box. As I got there the ball was crossed from the left side to me, and my dude chested the ball and then leaped and side volleyed the ball in to the goal on my left peg. Pretty damn sweet goal, and one I have saved :D

15 yards out... That's almost a penaltly! The box is 18 yards out & I don't think you can get in-direct free-kicks in the box otherwise my keeper would be sent off for diving almost every game :rolleyes:

Anyway, I remember scoring quite a few beauties in PES 2008 including directly from a corner, but nothing really special so far in PES 2009. Best so far probably been a Totti free-kick for Roma in the CL from 27m out, simply flew into the top corner :D

Yeah tell me about it!

On pro evo 4 I scored one with roberto carlos on my master league.

I was running along the edge of the penalty area parallel to the goal line and did a shot which turned out to be a rabona and it drifted perfectly into the bottom right corner.

On pro evo 2008 though I remember scoring a couple of romario-esque chip vollies which were epic - can't remember any of the details as playing pro evo for me is usually coupled with smoking a boat load of chronic ;)

i know free kicks are easier this year but i scored another unbelievable free kick with giovinco, i actually managed to bend the ball around the wall it was amazing. I also scored a goal that came from one of the most realistic passes i have ever seen on a game using manual pass, first time ball from amauri finished off by the brilliant giovinco with a deft chip

Right then, i'm new on here and am a recent convert to PES, but had to share this goal, or at least the description with you.

I was playing as Spain and scored a beautiful chip with David Villa.

Silva got the ball on the left wing, cut inside and played it to Torres in the centre, i skipped round two players and played a lovely through ball to Villa on the left near side of the box. Villa ran onto it and i saw the keeper off his line a bit, chipped the ball left footed first time and it just sailed over him, off the post, and in.

I'm sure quite a few of you have scored goals like this, but it's got to be my fave so far, one of those goals you just sit back and admire.

I've saved the replay (obviously). Not sure how to upload it though.

I'll try and explain 2 of my fav goals so far i don't normally save mine but i was quite chuffed with these 2 :)

Goal 1

Ederson has the ball near the edge of the line of the 18 yard box he runs a little holding of 2 players and then he lays of a pass to Walcott he takes a couple of touch before kicking the ball straight into his opponents nuts it rolls all the way back to Miguel Torres he smashes it with his right foot from about 25 yards into the top corner of the bar what a goal by my left back

Goal 2

the computer was passing it round for fun around the halfway line i managed to get a my bum in the way and it fell nicely to Ederson just in side my half he walked it little in to there side of the D on the halfway line there keeper was still off the line so i thought fuck it why not have ago from there keeper was running backwards put his hand up to try and stop it but luckily for me he could reach what a goal :)
