who do you think is the best goalkeeper in the game and why??

e.g. cech makes pulls off some unbelievable saves and saves more than punches not like casillas. casillas has got great reflexes but he punches the ball infront of him a lot which of course allows oppositions strikers to rebound.

Reality = Buffon no doubt. (Not because I am a Juve fan)
In game probably Buffon, cesar, cech and casillas.
I think cech is truly overrated in the game.

Well, do you count classic keepers? If so, Shirawtel (Shmeicel, or how ever you spell his name) and Yalem (Yashin) have amazing keeper stats.

I have Casillas in my master league but that was only because my 1st choice (Cech) was too old and 2nd choice (Buffon) wouldn't come!

But anyway, Cech has been seriously hard to penetrate, no pun or otherwise sexual inuendo intended, so I'd have to say him.

Or Buffon. Buffon's a beast.

i aint being funny but Given is actually really good. i went newcastle one time last week and he single handedly kept me in the game

ive got brad friedel as a newcomer think hes about 21 now n hes stats are shit hot defence-91 body balance-90 response-96 n keeper skills-89 n its ages still before he peaks

same here his is 24 for me and is constantly improving till about 30 or summit i think. Putting him on keeper training in the close season pumps his keeper skills up a bit more aswell
