Diego Lopez made two unreal close range stops to dig me out the shit on my master league last night, the animation was so realistic, response is a crucial stat for keepers as it was last year. on pes 2011 emiliano viviano was my keeper of choice, with the new patch he should be a beast this year as well but haven't tried him yet.

We now how important the form statistic is when lloking at overall players worth.
But how does this stat affect keepers perfomance in particular? Do they just run faster when on red arrow or they actually catch balls better too?

But how does this stat affect keepers perfomance in particular? Do they just run faster when on red arrow or they actually catch balls better too?

On a red arrow most of a players stats increase by 18%/36%, I'd reckon Response would rise by 36% and GK ability by 18% so it would definitely help.

Strangely the best performance from a goalkeeper so far for me has been Szecney. A long way from the best GK in it but seemed to play well and make saves out of the ordinary, i have had good experiences playing against Valdes which is welcome considering the people who keep picking them online, but ye the arrows massively affect performance, they are explained here..

I have Akinfeev in goal for my mlo team and the other day his form was high and he was almost unbeatable only conceded a couple of goals and they were 1 on 1's I was being overrun in 1 game and he was just stopping everything couldn't believe it , I would say form makes a big difference for goalie's

I haven't played it enough to be able to answer your question but I can tell you de Gea is certainly the most realistic. And by that I mean he's as terrible as he is in real life.
