I always liked Adriano as CF with Rooney in SS, at least in my ML, but that's only becuase I can't yet afford Van Nistelrooy or Henry.

For me at the moment in my master league, im on my second season on 5* in the top division and the strike force doing it for me are two CF's, Alberto Gilardino and Marcelo Zalayeta. Both fast powerful and great in the air, very cheap and still improving!

Depends how much money you have to spend, i am in the first season of ML and in the mid season break i bought Mellor and Mido. Finished top of the league with Mellor top goal scorer (mido 2nd) and mido top assist (mellor 2nd). best partnership ever for me. This is on 6* obviously.

A re-born Del Pierro is awesome. When he gets to about 24-25 years, he is unstoppable.

I think he retires relatively early in the game, as soon as he comes back into the market, snap him up.

at the moment im playing with rooney and adriano who has got one of if not the best left foot in the game you hit a ball right with him and nothing will stop it.Been playing with ac milan for 3 seasons now and maldini is sill on the team he's doing a shearer.

That wouldn't work as well as V Nistelrooy 1st striker with Henry/Eto'o as support. U need someone tall, powerful with good aerial abilities as 1st striker. They can also play foil for Henry/Eto'o who will do their work outside the box, make sizzling runs, ,supply passes, and shoot from long distance.
