I find Martins to be a great addition to any strike force just for his pure speed. I play him with Prso in master League and they seem to work quite well.

Sasuki's tip isn't bad. I like two strikers who are quite different, as I like to mix up my game as much as possible.

On PES4, I had a few unbelievable teams with the best strikers on the game, but without a doubt my most effective strike team was John Carew and Mateja Kezman. They're good players, but not world class, but on the pitch they were lethal. Carew won everything in the air and caused problems with his strength, while Kezman was a brilliant finisher and had good movement. They just worked a treat in tandem.

On this game, I'd probably go for something like Adriano and Rooney - I've never played them together, but Adriano's lethal and Rooney is quality in ML. Adriano's arguably the best all round out-and-out striker so he'd always be in. Tavano is fast and wicked after a couple of seasons, so that's not bad. Don't drop Ronaldinho though! Play him as an AM.

Depends on the way you play the game.

If you find yourself a good dribbler of the ball, then get yourself a player with good dribbling and another player with very good shooting so that the dribbler can put the shooter through on goal after taking away the defenders. Or a tall player so that your dribbling player can dribble out wide and cross in.

Say you got Adriano there, obviously you're going to be shooting a lot with him outside the area, therefor you will need a strike partner that will give him the space to shoot, Ronaldinho for example.

There are many different great partnerships for forwards, it just depends on how you play them.

Exactly, I play Prso and Martins purely because I like to play a long ball game and either Prso wins the header or it goes right over the top and Martins pace gets to the ball first.

Also, with those strikers you have really should be scoring, maybe putting some time into training would help?

My partneship on my pro 5 is Rooney and Saviola bloody brilliant these 2 guys are together always get you goal and fast little twats. Also for the height Sav is he doesnt half score alot of headed goals for me.

Adriano and Martins with Recoba just behind. That works very well you will find.

If you spot Adriano and Recoba with a little sniff of space to shoot outside the area, take it.

I had rooney and adriano in my last ml they were fucking amazing adriano because nearly every thing he hit near goal goes in.And rooney because when he develops his stats go through the roof.

Torres and Tevez make a great combination; I play Torres in the centre, and Tevez off to the wing a bit (but still a CF). They both can handle playmaking roles also.

I dont think adriano and rooney is the best ,i have them and while rooney is unbelievable adriano is a bit slow so i sighned robinho ,dont know what hes like yet cos i have to work.

I have rooney and torres up front BUT have robinho on the bench. When i bought i couldn't work out how to play with him and it took me 6 matches before he even scored.

Whether he's actually improved dramatically at the stuff i couldn't do i.e.shoot or i've got used to him, a season and a half later he's top goalscorer ahead of rooney and torres, he can score from outside the box much easier now and again he's still only on the bench for me

I've had exactly the same problems with Robinho. He only lives up to his stats if you play to his strengths. Otherwise he's too lightweight and gets knocked off the ball so easily. I quite often use him alongside bigger strikers to chase on to knock-downs when his pace and control just leaves defenders for dust. I'm slightly ashamed to say it, but he's always a good bet for getting you a penalty too! If it's still 0-0 with 10mins to go (from a 10min game) I'll bring him on to win me a penalty.

No dont drop Rooney just play them together up front and play Rooney behind them in a OM role he can play there and he works wonders with his pace and strength.
