Here's my take:

Eusebio (Elcherino) (more well-rounded Adriano)
Adriano (wierd, I know, but he powers EVERYTHING into the net!)
Pele
Maradonna


never played with pele or maradonna. Also, shot power is WAY too overrated in the game.

I hate Adriano, he's too slow. I like to play with fast strikers.

Ronaldo (fat one)

Adriano I had though til he hit 30, and I was being coerced into getting Gervinho. Adriano was excellent for me though.

TO be honest, with PES2008, the best players are those with the highest shot power and body balance. No skill or pace or accuracy.

I know! seriously! Gervinho is amazing but obviously Torres is a beast.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo! I know he's a winger, but he's the best player in the game, and he can play as a striker. I'm not joking you - every one of his stats (aside from defence) are in the red nineties with me. He's as good as Maradona is in the game.

they are all pretty good

over 3 years, they total scored more than 300 goals so far.

Imo, Ibrahimovic is sick. I also think Villa and Torres do good, but how can nobody mention Cisse! He must be the best striker I have on my second custom team. He has a good body balance and mint striking, he hits the ball so cleanly Vieri is fat and tired all the time, but can hit a ball half decent too, I use him sometimes in training.

I agree, I have Ibrahimovic, and he's unreal. His shooting, speed, body balance, dribbling, and heading are all world-class. He's free-scoring.
