Best tactic with Germany

Hi!
I'm playign PES4 on PS2 with my friends. Is there anyone that uses to play with Germany? I think it's a very slow team... and there isn't any good player... what tactic do you think best for Germany?

Hi, i like to play with germany, one of my favourite team. i used to play with 3 defences like argentina, instead i use only 2 strikers (argentina 3). I used hinkel, mertesacker and huth as DC(because the last two is tall to take high ball) and the centre one as sweeper. I cover them with 2 strong DMF (frings, hamann, hitzelsperger). for side midfield i use to cross with schneider, deisler and lahm (schweinsteiger not so good yet) .Ballack act as OMF, because he can assist and long shot. and the goalpoacher is kuranyi and podolski, klose if you like to heading. Germany is not weak at all if you play with my formation with direct and short pass, through ball. I easily hold up owen and rooney, when playing against england in 6 star difficulty.

Try it, and win with Nationalmannschaft!

thank you for your answer mzln82. I have some doubt about having three DC at back, but maybe the sweeper should be a good idea... i will try it and I'll tell you... what about playing against human players?

I think Germany look like a similar team to Italy. Both seem strong in the defence but lack pace. In most cases you should know what your preferred formation is so try using the Auto-Sort to see which players the CPU selects for you.

It works well too against human player. 3 DC is not bad at all, because they hold the crosses or long ball to the box well, absorb the aerial attack (with tall player like merti and huth). 5 midfielder make sure that you have strong possesion in midfield. It is also balance both in attack and defence, 5 go out attack while 5 hold up defence. It is important because as you see, this team is far from Matthaus & Co., it lacks skills and pace, so you have to go tactical and technical. Only this way the german team can survive. Forget about thrashing 5-0 with germany. They are not brazil or france, but with good tactic, sure you cant lose against them.

If you see thru history, german team conquered the world thru mastering the tactical and technic. Who have the skill? Matthaus? No. Klinsmann? No. Beckenbauer? No. Ballack? No. They only have SUPERB technik.

I've been playing a bit with Zee Germans recently. A couple of things. Give it too Michael Ballack, he's awesome in the game.

Also the squad needs adjusting as players like Huth, Schweinsteiger and Deisler aren't in it. Deisler is the best of all these players, and makes a great attacking OM on the right, with Ballack on the left if you're using the default system. I always play Hamann too.
