Is there a template for this..? as you have to cut about 1/4 of the picture off and rotate it, then align it perfectly. Whats the best way of doing this, or is it just a matter of a good eye and alot of paitience.?

Alright, finally got something. This tutorial is by Pro Kicker on www.pesforum.de. It was pointed out to me by essen6982. Just to be clear, this is Pro Kicker's tutorial - and the rar contains his files. I take no credit for this, other than the fact that I translated it to English from German.

gonzo thanks for the good tutorial... I've created, following this tutorial, some screens to replace the original konami; I've tested these in my pc version of the game and it work without freeze... So can I put these my edit screens in my xbox 360 iso???

No problem, Totti. If they work in your PC version, they should work in your 360 iso - as long as they are no bigger than the originals you're replacing. You're lucky to have the PC version as well, to test them first without burning a disc. I had to waste a few DL's to get it right. Just do as ellis12 said above, and drag the png's into the appropriate files using GGS and you should be good to go.

If the menus work in your PC version, I think your problem is either the size of the file or corruption in GGS. Did you extract the original images from rv0c and make sure your new files were smaller? If you're sure they fit, look in Bolloxmasta's thread for information on GGS corruption. Apparently some people have to insert a dummy file when using GGS, because the first file you import gets corrupted. I haven't had that problem, but it seems to have affected a lot of people.

Edit: Check this thread about GGS corruption.

...New Files imported were smaller than the original, so my problem isn't the size of the files but, probably, a corruption of ggs... I read the thread about ggs corruption... where can i take a dummy file to insert in a unused slot in my rvc_i and cv05??

I'm not sure. You might want to check with one of the patch makers. In rvc_i, I think you might be able to use the ManU/Arsenal logos in unnamed_101 - but don't quote me on that. In cv05 maybe something like unnamed_470 (if you don't ever plan on playing the Asian Cup).

Totti, I'm sure you saw this in BM's thread - but I wanted to post this here (in addition to the link I posted above), in case anyone else was having problems with GGS corruption.

Sorry for my english but i am german. I try to discribe you.

Everytime you open a .img with GGS you must put in a dummy file. The first drag&drop deletes the bin.

for example, the menu:

You open cv05 with GGS. Then you save file unnamed_497(or other). first you must put in a dummy file. Take a PNG in put in unnamed_497, so the bin is deleted. Then put the saved unnamed_497(which is ok) over the deleted(import a file over that one). Then you can put in every PNG you like(for menu unnamed_4, 5, 6 etc.) .

This you must make erverytime you open GGS. This works for ervery IMG.

good luck

I followed this instructions to change the menù, but however game crashes at the same moment... this time "loading screen" with the little stars continues to loadin at infinite time... :( I've changed cv05 files following this guide by essen and rvc_i files, but I haven't solve my problem... I don't know how change this situation!

PC Menu screens WONT WORK on a 360.... They are different sizes, i don't mean the file size i mean the picture size. They are also aligned slighlty different so even if it is only 1 pixel out on the 360 it will just hang the game.

If you load an X360 menu png in photoshop and load a PC menu png you will see the difference.

Yes you can edit X360 menu screens but you have to be carefull, just extract a x360 menu png then in photoshop use it as a template, i just cut and paste an image i want. it's not hard but it aint easy as you have to make sure it all lines up exactly right or it will hang the game.
As for scoreboards thats another story, they have to be perfect as well, i edited the pc version in pes2008 and got it running on a x360, but i didnt get enough support, all the x360 is bytes reversed so it is a painstaking task, it took me alot of discs, i will get around to converting a scoreboard to the x360 soon.
