Better Crossing

I have been playing PES 6 with Chelsea (4-4-2) , and a lot of my goals are headers. I'm not really sure about my crossing technique.
If my player is completly free to cross, what is the best way to do so? Do I cross while holding R2(very slow run), while not holding anything(regular run), while holding R1(Sprint)? Do I Press O once(high arc cross), do I press O twice(low arc cross)?

Thanks for the help

I would also love any other tips for playing with Chelsea.

o twice in my opinion and the direction you want it to go in.headed goals are alot more common in this game.goalie just cant save them.anyone else got more info on better crossing techniques would be nice to hear your views.

a good tip is instead of pressing o 3 times to cross along the floor (when in a crossing position) press forward as though you aiming to kick out for a goal kick and x it delivers a far more acurate pass along the floor just make sure there isnt one of you players infront of you when you do it otherwise you just pass to him
also if you have time and space press L1 R1 to knock the ball infornt of you player it will improve the acuracy of your cross no end

crossing is alot more realistic in pes 6 their are very few players in real life who can hit a good cross while running....the same applies in pes6 if you get enough time and space to whip in a cross then most of the time it is of a better quality

When I use wing-play I find that the faster you player is running, generally the poorer the cross.

Try sprinting down the wing, press R2 to stop your player and make him face he goal (the defender should keep running a bit to give you a yard or so of space) and do a doubke-O cross. Works for me!

try this the brand new crossing method. hold r2 and then do your crosses. make sure you try this when you pass the 18yrd box. i have the pes6 expert guide try it and let me know what you think. try it with beckham he does his real life cross.

I prefer to cut in from the wing and set-up my strikers with a normal X pass. Having said that, i've noticed that just pressing O once (rather than requiring a double tap) is much more effective in PES6 that it used to be.

When almost on the byline but inside the box L1 and Triangle can work a treat. Sometimes he'll send a delicate chip in that occasionally evades the keeper or he'll send him a quick low ball back across the front of the goal.

i normally double-tap o or do a cross on the floor. but iv recently started crossing to the near post, hold down as you press o, its very effective, just make sure you have a player there.
