Don't be afraid to shoot from anywhere - I'll try any angle and any distance. At first it's hard to judge how much power you should use, but after a while you will know exactly - that's when the screamers start flooding in. I score 45 yards shots on a regular basis now - so much so I skip the replays to play on
Volleys are all about timing and positioning. When the ball is dropping to your player, use :R2: to position him correctly. Several times you hold down :square: , expect a scorching volley and find that he heads the ball across the floor. If this is the case, keep practicing and move the player back a bit. Once you hit your first one (regardless of where it ends up) it will become so much easier.
Free-kick with curl are easy. Just hold left or right when the power bar appears.
Normal play curl is slightly harder though. I don't have a set technique for hitting shots with curl - just depends on what part of the foot the player hits it with. If you position him to hit it with the outside of the foot (hard to do) then you will get outside curl.
I've mastered corners completely and can pick out the main target man everytime, but I can't really explain how I do it. Just get about half power and put a slight bit of curl so it goes around the penalty spot. Hold :R2: to position your player and just press :square: .
Most of the great goals in this game are all about timing, which no-one can teach you. It's all about practice mate. Hit the training ground and in an hour you will banging them in!
Good luck!
