I have pes4 on ps2. I play on 6* and can wim most of the time but my goals are so simple. I was wondering if any one could tell me how to do the following things to help me score better goals:

1. I have seen these very powerful, curling volleys.

2. Curling shots from free-kicks and normal play.

3. The best technique from corners.

4. Any other ways of scoring special goals.

Thanx in advance.

Let a few shots rip from 25 yards +. I scored a fantastic goal a couple of days ago with Adriano against Wales. Basically I scored using a super cancel spin from 35 yards out, dummying the ball past the defender and shooting a first time shot from 30 yards, curling into the top corner. Best thing is to use your imagination and a complete understanding of the controls. :)

Don't be afraid to shoot from anywhere - I'll try any angle and any distance. At first it's hard to judge how much power you should use, but after a while you will know exactly - that's when the screamers start flooding in. I score 45 yards shots on a regular basis now - so much so I skip the replays to play on

Volleys are all about timing and positioning. When the ball is dropping to your player, use :R2: to position him correctly. Several times you hold down :square: , expect a scorching volley and find that he heads the ball across the floor. If this is the case, keep practicing and move the player back a bit. Once you hit your first one (regardless of where it ends up) it will become so much easier.

Free-kick with curl are easy. Just hold left or right when the power bar appears.

Normal play curl is slightly harder though. I don't have a set technique for hitting shots with curl - just depends on what part of the foot the player hits it with. If you position him to hit it with the outside of the foot (hard to do) then you will get outside curl.

I've mastered corners completely and can pick out the main target man everytime, but I can't really explain how I do it. Just get about half power and put a slight bit of curl so it goes around the penalty spot. Hold :R2: to position your player and just press :square: .

Most of the great goals in this game are all about timing, which no-one can teach you. It's all about practice mate. Hit the training ground and in an hour you will banging them in! Good luck!

^^ exactly.. you have to practice. It comes more quickly to some than to others but you'll get it. Keep practicing

If your just wanting to score goals, try playing a left winger on the right and a right winger on the left and when they got the ball as you get to the halfway start to run in field and let rip, usaly hits crossbar but after a bit of practice..........Also to get one from longrange play 4-4-2 diamond, have a powerful shot as DM and an accurate passer at AM, play a 1-2 from the DM to the AM and back as the DM gets it back, smack it!

practice is the best solution, maybe even try it in training or on a lower difficulty level once the keepers are not as talented. also the quality of the player will affect the quality of the strike. i find recoba and nedved to be good from outside the box.
