Bicycle kicks...

How the hell do u do a bicycle kick???... is there an easy way (i.e. a button combo??) or is it just the luck of the cross and the player positioning???

It's just positioning and a bit of luck. i had never scored an overhead kick in any of the pro evolution soccers, and i've been playing them for years. Then last night i scored one and hit the bar with another.
When you float the ball in try and move your player away from the flight of the ball by pressing R2 and the direction away from the ball so( if you're shooting left to right) if the ball is being crossed in you would press R2 and right then shoot once the ball is near you. Sometimes it'll work sometimes it won't. Hope this helps.
Probably complete jibberish but never mind.

usually the player has to be clear of defenders and on the far edge of the box for it to work for me

i have only ever attempted 2 and connected with one of those attempts and it went flying over the crossbar like beckhams penalty v turkey

LMAO, i've scored 1 over head kick, on training. i was practising free kicks and the ball hit the wall went up in the air and Lucio of all people (defender) scored a bicycle kick! not repeated since

I have hit several wide which is most annoying (mental note, let go of analogue stcik after shot!). I am also extremely good at making my players launch through the air in attempted bicycle kicks and then completely miss the ball!!!

Not the full bicycle kick (back to goal, over the head), but using the aerial through ball from just inside the corner of the area can set up beautiful aerial volleys for CF's, launching themselves sideways into the air.
