Hi chimps just got back from work and downloaded the new patch 1.02. I think it's affecting the gameplay.

Admittedly i only play on regular (that's what i have been playing on in patch 1.01 also) but it seems a lot easier to dribble again and to get crosses in. :angry:

I deleted the patch to go back to old one to compare but will only let me reinstall patch 1.02 not 1.01. :huh:

Anyone else got any views on this?

Just played another game, this time on professional, a bit harder obviously but doesn't feel as great. Might just be me, maybe it's all in the mind! :unsure:

I am going to back up my OF and previous data pack, so if it's rubbish with the patch on , I can hopefully go back to 1.01

Granted I've only played one game on pro at 15 min but I found it harder but in a good way. I was man city and got beaten 2-0 by Juve. As said earlier the computer retains the ball better and works openings a lot better and is sharp around the box. Dribbling doesn't seem easier really and the AI isn't as lively as the first patch, I think this patch further enhances the OF.

I just think that pyschologically some people may be tricking themselves as I don't think there is major differences between the patches.

All I will say is that my findings are only after half hour play but im not concerned by the new patch as I feel it has not damaged the OF at all

I don't think it wil be in your head as a lot of people are saying that com controlled teams are dribbling like they did in 1.00

i think its toned down in v1.02. im playing on -1 speed and its the best pes ive ever played with your gameplay tweaks,i played for 3 hours solid tonight and i didnt want to turn the game off

I installed it late last night and played a few games. I like it, I had been looking for ways to make the game harder and the com controlled teams pass it about more before installing it and this patch has done exactly that.

Player fluidity and response has been slightly increased which lets you get in more shots than before and more space on the ball, but defensive AI has been increased, so the amount of goals you score is kept to normal levels.

I will be putting out a game play update for it after I have got the hang of it a bit more. One thing I am not keen on is that against some top teams you concede a lot of goals from nothing where you cannot do anything about them. This may be down to the patch and my game play file where AI is already increased. Against normal teams the game looks great, but at the very top level against people like Madrid and AC Milan, there is times when a player will be too unstoppable and look unrealistically so or some very fast passing puts someone through on goal with your defence no where.

This either creates a high number of players through on goal from nothing or someone like ronaldo beating 4 men every time he has the ball and getting a shot in. I will be try very subtle changes to lessen this and looking at getting consistancy between teams in the game and it should end up being the best PES yet

Is there a link to any of the ad boards? they just dont appear with any of the created stadiums, downloaded every link that has been put up in this thread.

I had the same problem but i solved it by going into edit and import stadium and then choose the stadium e.g. Stamford bridge and it will overwrite the original. Then the red crosses will be replaced by correct adboards, do this with each stadium you downloaded.

Sorry I cant be more precise but I'm not at home and don't have my ps3 to check

chimps theres your file,this is my new edit file with stadium names updated,new kit 6 template unlocked and new kits added over using template 6(african teams)


i have a ps3 slim and the settings i use are 15mins professional on -1 speed,seems a perfect balance to me

ive had a go at fixing some stats too using your guidelines and ive added the new shooting card to some players who i think should have it,it gives them a new animations when shooting from distance. also added the scissor card to tricky players(ronaldinho etc) so they have the same new dribble animation as neymar,robinho etc

oh and another thing,you need to unlock kit template 6 from the shop for the african teams kits,ive added them too
