I can take an internet abusing in my stride.

How are you going to do the chants?

I done my own chants pack for the PC. In that I normalised the volumes of all the chants in order that they blend in with other stadia atmosphere, I eliminated all the scores of shitey poor quality chants that can be found in all the other community patches (i.e. chants recorded on back of bus, in pub, in school cloakrooms), and most importantly, I made sure that roughly 40% of each teams chants slots were filled with dummy files. That is to say, files that played 'silence' for 20 seconds. This way the chants do not play constantly for the whole game. The end result is very pleasing if I do say so myself.

Furthermore, as console patchers, you have your hands tied by having to make the accumulative size of your patch files equal the original files. By using these dummy files (which you can make any 'size' you want), you will give yourself a lot of leeway.

Just a suggestion.

I wounder if todays update can help you in your work? I assume that the patch can only be playble in V1.0 of the game? But maybe you can update the roster update in todays update to the disk. I will remember you have done this in PES 09 patch? So my question is does todays patch help you or does it makes things even harder? Keep up the good work! Looking forward to your patch! Thanks in advance!

bolloxmasta has told me the patch will have the newest konami update intregrated into disc image so yes transfers etc will be done

I have no doubt that he does know a lot more what he is doing than I do......

.......but regarding the chants element of things, every PES patch I have ever seen has had full chants slots, many of them poor quality, many of them with one voice being heard above hundreds of voices, and of course, the chants play 100% of the game......which is just horrible.

I dont know what Bolloxmasta does with his patch, I have never seen (or heard) his patch as for ProEvo, I have always gamed on PC since the PS2 days have passed. Just thought I would chuck in a suggestion.

bollox, can you remove the sponsors on the AZ (dutch competition) kit. Cause their sponsor DSB is bankrupt lol. they have to play their estimate games this year without sponsor !! dutch forum members know what im talking about :D
