You lack arguments which I provided that show how much better Messi is than Ronaldo, and its not because he plays for Barca, infact if anything its amazing how he manages to shine in a team with such players as Xavi and Iniesta. And lets not pretend Ronaldo plays for a pub club because Real Madrid is probably the 2nd best team on the planet atm.

Are you all for real? Ronaldo doesn't even compare to Messi. Before you even say "Messi only got 50+ goals because of Inesta an Xavi...did you know Messi finished as top assist in La Liga last season?

Someone mentioned above that just because Messi can do a simple skill that Ronaldo does about 1000 times a game, just get out. Seriously. What Messi does with his feet is not a SIMPLE SKILL, its down to his balance his agility, his control. Messi can fake one way and before you know it his gone. Ronaldo just dances with the ball, and just shows off sometimes. Yeah can be beat players, but the lightest of touches and he goes and complains about his make up. Messi on the other hand, can get battered and players try to outstrength him but he is seriously strong and cant be knocked off the ball easily:

Can Ronaldo do this?

Did you see Real vs Barca in the Champions League? I can gaurentee you one thing. In the time Ronaldo will be at Madrid, he WILL NOT be able to do to Barca what Messi has done to Madrid over the years. Ronaldo is arrogant and when he loses the ball or something he wines like a little baby.

Ronaldo's free kick record arnt that spectacular either. Sure when he was at United he was scoring free kicks, but it wasn't week in, week out. As someone pointed out scored like 1 free kick every 3 or 4 games. Have you noticed most of his free kicks now, either hit the wall or go high or wide?

Messi for me is the best player of his generation. His younger than Ronaldo and is also far more consistant, I rarely see Messi have a bad game, he has been consistant in about 3 or 4 seasons and he is an all round better player.

Ronaldo is a great player don't get me wrong, he can do things out of this world, but he aint as consistant as Messi. Ronaldo can't destroy teams in Europe like Messi can. This argument about Ronaldo vs Messi is annoying but its what makes football.
