Camera Tilting

That was one great idea when first implemented .. but then with next-gen PES series, I don't know why they took that out of the game (Pes 2008 & 2009)

For enhancing realism, It has to be re-implemented in PEs 2010 , I wish and hope that they'll re-program it..

What's so special about camera titling???????
I mean It's a nice feature but it's better if the gameplay is more next gen first rather than adding camera titling. It would surely add more option to suit you but nothing specialreally. Still I'd like to see a ruturn (even if I never used it) because editing the game to suit you is always the best option. But as I said, the main focus is the gameplay.

but in my opinion, the camera tilt made every bit of difference to the gameplay. You could see what was going on around you much better and get a clearer view of goal - you could actually see whereabouts in the net the ball landed too.

Agree 100& kevthedrummer, I think we have been involved in these threads before! Camera Tilting for me MADE the game what it was - so yes, it has everything to do with the gameplay. Watch footie on TV, and that is how the camera tilting option comes across, like a real broadcast. I've yet to see a match on TV where the camera glides along the side of the pitch, so in actual fact, the standard camera is nowhere near authentic. Makes a huge difference to the game, get an old PS2 version or PES6 and try it for a week - you won't go back.

^It doesn't involve the gameplay. It shows the gameplay. There'sa difference. All I said was that it's better to focus on the gameplay rather than making options to show the gameplay more. Even I want it. But there are other top priority things to take care of first.

TBH I agree with Shaun, Konami have higher priority's to fix first, although I too would like to see this back in PES2010.

Here's an idea on how to make in-game play more realistic:
*Cameras should turn to fan reactions. This feature should not only be in the begining. The fans are big influences on a game. The fan reactions should range from tossing an object at the ref/opposing team for a bad decision to cheering on a goal to leaving the stadium early after a loss to simply eating a mid-day snack.

^The camera turining to show fan reaction is a bad idea?
It's far better than camera tilting. It makes you stay in the game.

you go on about gameplay being most important, the camera angle is an integral part of the gameplay. not watching some fat cunt eat a hotdog.

^NO, NO, NO. The camera tilt SHOWS the gameplay, but does NOT improve it.
The gameplay first needs fixing.
As for camera turning on fans. PES always had lack of fan reactions. This would give it a boost.
BTW I want camera titling too, but there are other important things :)

something kind of to do with camera angles, but i was playing the ML league the other day, playing liverpool away and i thought in order to get some kind of a feel of playing away at grounds such as Anfield and Old Trafford is to implement the camera angles you see on tv into the game. it would make you feel like you're actually playing away and not at some other ground with your selected camera angle, it could also give the home team an advantage

i guess it would probably be down to licensing and whether it would actually work and not make the game tedious but it would add an air of realism to the game

We re all seeking the most realistic soccer simulation.. The camera angles are vital in this situation. As in real football camera has to be static and get tilted to sides for displaying the pitch. I'm sure it is not difficult to implement in programming manner, cuz they did it before in PES 5 & 6
About Konami; I dont understand one thing!!!!
Why they cancel something which they used it before... Even though it is a thing that everyone appriciated .... I really dont understand it..
