Can anyone give a PS3 and PS4 comparisons?

Hi guys,

I received my PS4 copy last night and I'm really pleased with the gameplay this year! Could anyone tell me if there is a difference in gameplay from the PS3 to the PS4? Obviously the graphics are going to be better but I wondered if the game mechanics was still as fluid on the PS3? I got the game on PS4 knowing that OF's was not possible but I honestly thought they would have included a pixel editor like they did in the older games. It hasn't ruined the game for me but I'm tempted to get the PS3 version too when it drops in price.

When I played the demo, it was slower and as a result easier as I had more thinking time. I won all 5 games where as on PS4 I struggled to win.

I purchased the game for my PS4 when it got released but and today I got the one for my PS3 since was cheaper.
Since we can't get the OP file to work on Ps4 I'm sticking with PS3.
I find the graphics on ps4 a bit better but the game play its pretty much the same in my opinion.

You do NOT buy option files on Ebay. Option Files are fan made. You can find some here, on the editing section or on other PES fansites like PESedit etc. I repeat, Option file is NOT something you buy off Ebay.

Google-ing it may be a better solution.

check on this site for available option files for PS3 by CLICKING HERE

there was a time when people sold them on usb drive, not sure if they still do it, but there are some great inventions here worth checking on.

Notice the examples here, and most other places, are still being worked on so will be released with updates. Be sure to know what version you need -- North American, European, etc.

One Huge factor that the PS3 has over the PS4 is 2v2 couch coop!(add guest user onlineranked match) I can't believe the PS4 did not get this !!!!

ok so your telling me all theese option files that are being sold on ebay are fake? i assumed people make them onto a usb and charge for it as there is some on their for 4.99 and you get the option file on a usb and get emblems team names and leagues etc.

I wouldn't vouch for anything being sold online, but I am not saying they're fake either. THe thing is option file is not usable for PS4/XB1, for PC its simpler to download rather than purchase. That leaves PS3 and 360, I know they're available for free as user created content (see Ironcity's post earlier) and they are not very difficult to implement if you do have a usb flashdrive. I'm sure someone with better knowledge of the PS3/360 may guide you better. BTW What platform are you on?

im on ps3 and iron city i am currently at the stage of having extracted the OF and now waiting to copy onto usb but i have no idea how to do this stage so a step by step would be much appreciated thanks

If you have it on a USB be sure to name the folder SAVEDATA

then place that SAVEDATA folder in another folder named PS3

Once you place the usb into the PS3 go to Game Utliity menu (in games) and click on USB. There are two game utility options in this PS3 menus and i forget which one to choose, but check both until you find all the files. One Game Utility will find your usb but will say no files, however the other game utility will find the files.

Once you select the USB in the correct game utility it will begin showing you all the files in that SAVEDATA folder. Take a minute and let them all load, then copy files>select all>ok. Copying them takes a few minutes. If you are using Paul2478's recent file, I think there are 188 individual files to copy.

**be sure to give a minute for your PS3 to recogonize all the files before copying.. I made the mistake in being too hasty last night and did not copy them all to my ps3 when I "selected all" and thus I had some that never copied and i had to repeat the process.

Once you have copied all the files over to your PS3 you are set to go. Just boot up your PES and the rest is done for you. You will see PES boot dialogue say it is loading Edit data.

Be aware that any game info you previously had will be erased. So any save tactics will disappear. By copying the EDIT file within the OF you downloaded, the game will act like you booted up for the first time (other than the day 1 game pack Konami provided)
