Can I play online with an edited option file?

Hey guys

If me and friend of mine have the exact same edited option file, and we are fully patched up with the official Konami patches, can we play online against each other?

I downloaded a Classic Teams Option File for the PS3 and its awesome and we want to play with those Classic Club Teams online.

Is this possible, or will the game revert to the default option file online?

Kits & team names will be as they are in your OF, but the players will all go back to the defaults

Damn really?

Any way to change that? That sucks balls, we cant play with these awesome option files online. We should be able to do that in non ranked matches.
