i have a problem online:
you can only play 1vs1 in quick match. this is due to restriction on your connection by networking devices you are using this issue may be solved by connecting your hardware directly to internet or by configuring your network device such as your router. apply dmz, portmapping, nat table configurations and other router settings to your pc system. individual hardware systems may use unique terminology.
i dont get this can anybody help me solving this in clear english. (or dutch)

I had the same issue.

First step, make sure you have NAT type 2 on your PS3 (open), though the PS3 Network settings. If it is type 2 you will have to forward your ports. Don't enable DMZ as i was told that was the only security your router had from your computer being left vulnerable.

It can seem daunting, but Log in to your route through its IP address (sometimes it's on the box / instructions or by googling your make of router).

Once you log in to it, try to go to the port settings or 'game and network sharing'.

You have to designate some ports to your router that won't be used by any other application.

For mine i had to specify TCP range and UDP (i don't know what these mean) so i just found out what guidance for anold version of pes. Yours may be different, but here's what I used.

Protocol: TCP
Port Range: 5000 - 5200
Translate To 80 - 280

Trigger Protocol: UDP
Trigger Port: 3658

I then, put in the UDP port in the PES settings page in the PES menu (3658 above).

Worked fine for me after.

Good luck!

There is NOTHING you can do apart from buying a different router. I had the same problem with PES2011 and never found a solution or heard of anyone finding a solution to this. Konami did nothing to help.

I did not buy PES2012 for that reason this year.
