Hi folks!Before i start al admit im a PES nut!Thing is Fifa has come close this year,a lot of my mates have swapped alliegence.Fifa may have even sold more(dont quote me on that!)In a ps3 mag they had a graph showing PES decline since PES5/6.My question is what do you think?-
1.Has PES declined or Fiffffa improved?
2.Which was the most dissapointing PES?
3.What element of the game needs improving the most for 2010?

This has been discussed so much in so many forum parts and whatnot but short answer from an optimist (to the question asked in the thread title);

Yes.

1. both

2. PES 2008 was a joke

3. Return gameplay to a similar style of PES4-6 with spectacular goals somewhat harder to score and less common but with next gen gfx and physics....

I was a PES player then switched to Fifa after Fifa 06 came out and now i'm a PES player again. :shocking: There is one thing that bugs me about both PES and Fifa...There's NO 360 degree dribbling :eek:hmy: If Fifa have this in Fifa 10 and PES don't then I may swap games again

360dribbling would be nice, pes 10 wont have it unfortunately. Truthfully I havent played fifa since 07 and I didnt even own it. I believe Fifa has just improved so much and PES really hasnt changed much since PES 6. Obviously it has gotten better and I am not trying to complain I love it the way it is, I just hope that they can improve the online game play, 360 dribbling, and a few other minor things with free kicks and throw-ins.

Hrrrm no. I strongly disagree with this. Practically all goals on those games were cut-backs because going for nice goals meant you took far less of your chances which meant if you played nice football, you would generally lose.

Well yeh goals were to easy all round in those games,,,especialy if u cut in from wing and lay it off, or even a through ball near edge off box

Good thing IMO was you could score loads of screamers from all angles and volleys and distances etc...but the problem was you could score them too often which is unrealistic, how many games IRL will you see 3-4..etc goals form 25-30+ yds....per game

With enough space to cleanly strike the ball from 30yds with a decent player I guarantee I score 1 out of 2/3 times on average.......

Anyway as for pes 2009 95% of goals are scored by the goalie parrying initial shot and striker following up to score the rebound....
