Can someone explain the new defensive system in PES2011?

How is it different from what we hare used to on previous PES games? Do you rush the guy with the ball or the incoming ball with X and can you still use a secondary defendor to pressure and assist with the square button? I would love to hear how this new system works.

I’m sure most you have read my colleague, Aryel Abrahami’s PES 2011 impressions by now and some of you might have even glanced at my E3 impressions last month. If you did then you will know that I didn’t get much time with the game at E3, two matches to be exact and, for that reason, I craved for a deeper look at the game. Just last week I got to do exactly that at the Konami offices in London and spent over three hours with updated E3 code.

yes square does bring a second defender and holding x to tackle... but you cant rush too hard otherwise you will commit a foul to easily :)

its a 3 stage system
1)defenders will hold back when the opposition has the ball
2)when the opposition player is close to the ball the player selected will press on the player whilst the other defenders will keep on holding back
3)when the player has the chance to tackle he will tackle
