When your playing a game ( i usually play with a wide angle camera angle) when you watch a replay the quality of the picture isnt as good as when your playing! Its like its quite fuzzy or something....then when you stop watching the replay and go back to the action the picture is back to normal again....Is this true on your game?

I got the game yesterday and play it on the same camera angle, I took my PS2 and PES6 to my mates house and the replays were fuzzy. Then I played it at home later on and the replays were fine? I'm thinking it's something to do with picture settings on the TV or the way it's connected??

The replays aren't fuzzy for me, the background action seems slightly more blurry, but thats an effect i've noticed in most Pro Evos, nothing bout fuzziness tho, must just be picture settings.

I play with the wide camera and i have it tilted to angle number 8. My replays have a slight fuzz too. I have an S VIDEO connection into a 50 inch DLP tv, i dont think its the telly.

The first 2 replays are fuzzy, they have the Canon camera logo in the top right corner, after these it's normal, these are the normal replays you can move the camera and freeze gameplay etc ;)

i like to see a bit more of the pitch than medium offers and i turn the camera to angle 8...i dont like the total side on thing. The slightly grainy replay actualy looks good, its no detrament.

so it mite have something to do with your telly? i'll try it on my big tv when i get home tonight but if the wierd thing is that as i play on wide screen camera angle (tilt 9) the actual replays from that exact camera angle are completely fine....try it...and the rest of the replays are as someone put it quite grainy and fuzzy looking. I dont remember having this problem with other PES before, and i dont think it makes it look more authentic, more the complete opposite. It ruins the replays for me....

use component input if your tv has it, picture quality is much better and i know cos i've tried the standard rgb, s video and component cables on my ps2- the difference is amazing in pes and other ps2 games especially if you have a large screen (my panasonic is 47")

Forgive my lack of knowledge but how do you go about doing this? I have a Panasonic 42" plasma.

I was playing at Old Trafford and the replays were indeed grainy looking, but my second match on the game was at Ayase-Nakano (or whatever it's called), and the replays were clear in that game...

Maybe it's something to do with the settings at start..50khz or 60khz. I find it better on 50 for some reason and LCD TV is brand new.

I think he means if your tv has COMPONENT section on rear with five plug holes, here's link for cable - http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk/catalog/component-cable-p-1005.html

Not sure but I reckon the dearer they are the better picture you'll get as with most cables.

Not sure but if I remember you have to change system config on ps2 - 'component video out' to Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr

yea thats wat i meant, sorry if i confused u
Stella Dave is spot on with hist post and if u do decide to get the component components make sure u change the system config on the ps2 (which is done in the PS2 browser ie the screen u get if u turn on the ps2 with no disk in the tray) or else u will get no picture on your screen
i remember pes5 before these cables, it looked so pixelated that i wanted to throw out my ps2, lol
