I'm surprised how some people overhere are talking about our game. Don't you play for fun ?? It seems a lot of guys are thinking this is the real game. If you want realism and real movement take out a ball and knock it about on the street. I play soccergames from about the first Kick Off version and i still enjoy the games a lot The PES games where always my favorite and will be. But i never expect them to be the real game because nothing will ever be able to beat playing in a real game of soccer.

Here here!!! Apart from when you get kicked and it hurts!!

The posts prior to this make interesting reading...just a quick point, the bug that annoys me the most is when I'm clean through and get bundled over from behind, the result being a freekick but not even a card for the other team. This is, and has been, my biggest gripe about the referees - petty fouls I can handle, but I hate the scenario mentioned above.

I don't understand the point you're making here. Are you trying to say that the team at konami shouldn't be striving for realism, and trying to get as close to realistic movement as possible?

I know it's all about having fun. But it'd be even more fun the closer they get to replicating the real game. Fact.

This is the thing I really don't understand. Just because there are criticisms of the game, doesn't mean it's not a god one, or that I am not enjoying it. Just that it could, and will be, better.

If you arent going to contribute anything positive in this thread why post? I enjoy reading other people views on the pro evo series and my guess is so do other people.

I just try to point out that im very happy with the gameplay as it is.

I would like to see more changes in the graphical areas and the menu's.

scousevolution, do you realise that your post was 1498 words longs! i enjoy the pro evo games, and agree that PES4 was a step backwards. however, i love PES5, especially with the long shooting improved. you are obviously a true fan to right so much about the game. i salute you

nice lengthy post... but i do agree with some about the CPU playing A LOT BETTER than the previous versions..... just played and when the CPU has a freekick near the touchline, i put most of my players in the box to defend a cross and you noe what he actually did!, the CPU chipped a ball back outwards onto the edge of the area and powered a great header into the goal!!... totally caught me out!!.... tats fun......
