Can't load 2nd Player Team data

Currently having trouble loading my team data when playing against my bro. We both created ML teams so when I load my team its fine, but when we try to load his team (his 2P) it says that 'no data exists'. We've made sure that he saved his team data again but still get the same problem. This is on PS4.
