Can't register created player

Hi,

I am new to PES 2010 and can't seem to register a player that I created to an existing team. I choose the Register Player option in the Edit Menu, then I select the team I want to register the player to. When I get to this point, I do not see an "Add Player" option as the manual states. And if I choose an existing player to switch with my created player, I am unable to get to the list of Others where my created player is located.

Can someone let me know what I am doing wrong here?

hi you should see the add player option in the top corner

Go to edit team.
select the option "Register Player"
Select the team to which you want to register the player
Click on "ADD"
go to last by holding right direction key to "Created Players"
Select your player

Spot on. It'll be the very top option in the list of players on the left hand side of the screen. Worth noting that if your selected sides squad is already full you won't be able to add directly, needing to remove a player first.

Thanks to everyone who responded. Ok just to clarify, the game does not allow you to add or switch in your created player to one of the existing national teams? I tried to add my player to the USA national team but I did not see the add option. It also did not let me switch in my created player since it did not give me access to the Others list. However, if I select a club team like Aston Villa for example, I do see the add option.

haha You can't, not to National teams. You should have said that in the first post.

You can't add directly but you can swap your created player for one that is already in the national squad.

Really? When I try to swap out a player on a national team, I only get a set list of players. It doesn't let me choose the "Others" list where my created player is located.

The comment below your post #10, is correct. When swapping look for the position your player is and obviously, the name. Might help to double check you registered a nationality.

I dont get it I tryed to do that but I can only swap to other club teams
