I havn't played for ages because I'm waiting for the patch to fix A LOT of errors. They released it too quickly to try and get it out before CM, ironically CM has been massively delayed anyway so there was no point - but the patch is taking fuckin ages.

Over on SI forum they say it'll be out in "a matter of days not weeks" now, I should bloody well hope so

what is the purpose for patches? other than fixing error.. does it update transfer?

btw, can anyone recommend me a good central back? i prefer a young player and will not complaint if he doesnt get enough game

I'm still playing on Champ Manager 03/04 and the FM2005 demo because I've been told I've got to wait until Chrimbo so it gives me nan something get me. I dread to think what I'll end up with. But playing on CM03/04 has reminded me what a legend Lionel Morgan is!!!

just noticed some bugs! my team was playing in a cl group match and i noticed that my players has 1-18 squad number! instead of having the real number for eg. puyol got #4 instead of #5

i was talking to my brothers mate and he sed that football manager is possibly the greatest game hes ever played he sed the only thing that could make it better is if you watch the the players live. is it that good!!?!??!?

It's not "that" great but it's better then CM 03/04 and it's definately better with this patch too, quality first game from SI after a difficult period - will be even better next year

i haven't played fm 2005 for ages. disapointing really as i expected so much of it, and its riddled with bugs. Its like CM4 all over again.

patches dont normally change the rosters, look for 3rd party updates for those, although they normally require the latest patch for them to work...

Just got the game for an amount of money which is classified information Is there an online guide or should I just go along with the game? BTW I have only played Champ manager 00/01 demo for a couple of days so i am not so up to date. Any hints and tips would be appreciated.

always buy pacey wingers, always set ya captain as the 1 with the most influence and try and stick as close as ya can to 442, and the most important 1, DO NOT BE WOLVES!!!

i use a 4-1-1-3-1 formation.. it works well for barca! my highest win so far is 5-0

one thing that i noticed not fixed in the 5.0.2 patch: players that are dying for first team football still complain about it even though the player is joining other club.. GRRR
