Liam how much money have you had to spend with Chelsea?and who have you brought?

Big names, I've bought Torres, Gerrard, Joaquin, Maxwell and Mascherano. I bought Torres because I sold Mutu to Arsenal, bought Gerrard because I had too much money lying around, Joaquin because I had no right-wingers, Maxwell as a back up for Bridge as I edited Babayaro to Newcastle, and Mascherano to replace the ageing Makelele.

I haven't bought anyone for 1 and a half seasons though, so my transfer budget this summer is something stupid like £150m. I use Forssell and Carlton Cole as striker back ups as well, who are both class, so there's no need to really spend the stupid amounts of money you get.



Lampard is stupidly good in this formation. Set his personal settings to long shots often and running forward often, and he picked up 26 goals a season!

Thanks, might buy the players you have now and also as Chelsea is easy to manage because of the money available I might manage a different team because once I had 95 million to spend blew it on youngsters for the youth team and reserves.

Also I might buy Ronaldinho and Gerrard just for the sake of it.

team update: signed 30-year-old Ballack and 23-year-old F. Torres on a free transfer..Its going to be hard for me to rotate my strikers now cause I have 5. RVN, Rooney,Forssell,Podolski and my newly signed Torres.. my best youngster is Fletcher

Is CM this easy.....reading some of the post the game sounds easy......why don't you lot play as Forest and make it hard for yourself......so the game will last longer and give yourself a challenge.

True although im playing as Chelsea and when 2010 comes I will leave to a more 'unknown' lower league club .

Has anybody else thought it would be worth Konamis while to team up with SI Games and make a Football management game with a 3D game engine. I mean that would be the best of both worlds and would blow EA's total club wotsit out of the water - where it belongs
