Changing Difficulty Rating

I started my Master League on 2* and was wondering if anyone knows how (or if) you can change it to 3* or upwards without having to start a new Master League. This is for the playstation and not the PC version.

You can only change it in the off-season period at the end of the season. Go to settings on the main ML menu and you'll be able to change the difficulty there

My problem is a little bit different:
Been playing on 5* for 2 seasons now and consider moving up to 6.. But?! I can't seem to find the 6th star in the settings menu (along with match time etc.)???? I have of course unlocked the 6* option in the PES shop, and when I load/save my ML I see the extra optional star.. But in my settings in ML I have only 5 full stars and no extra - 6th - star???

It's a bug. You can't move up to 6 stars if you started your master league on 5 stars.

Yeah To go up to 6* you need to have the 6* difficulty bought in the pes shop before you start your master league. That happened to me too.
