The problem with the chants in PES 2013 on PC is, that it's actually not possible to add specified chants to a specified Team, because there are many teams that uses the same chant slot. As long as it's not possible to add chants to a specified team, you can only use chants for the available slots taken from the dt01.img e.g. in this Chants Map.

Use PES Sound Converter to convert the *.mp3 files you want into *.adx files. When you look on the very left in the Chants Map, you see the slots that the teams use, let's say you want to have Bayern Munich Chants, you have slots

the correct filenames for kitserver13 (to be recognized) would be

unnamed_624.adx
unnamed_625.adx
unnamed_626.adx

they have to be in the dt01.img folder in the \kitserver13\<any-root>\img folder to use them ingame, if there is no dt01.img folder, just create one.

If you want more than 3 Chant slots, just use slots from other teams from the list (that are mostly unused from your POV) and change the cheering of Bayern Munich in the edit mode to the team you used the slots from.

I actually tested the Bayern chants and i really like them, so thanks for them, chuckbass. ;)

I am well aware of the requirement to replace existing files, which is why I said so in my post you quoted ;) My point was I dont have an adx converter nor did I know which specific files needed replacing or I would have already inserted some of the chants from the pack. I was hoping that chuck was aware of what was required, and would release his packs in PC freindly fashion.

So now I know I can at least change out some chants. I dont care about all the other teams to be frank. I only ever play as a handfull of teams, so I can easily "lose" default chants.


So basically all I need to do is convert the chants for the team I want, name them correctly and drop them in to the correct folder in kitserver and it should work, right?

Well I must be doing something wrong because im not hearing the chants for my team. Did as listed;

Converted to .adx
renamed to kitserver13 file naming system & teams slot
placed in dt01.img folder, inside the img folder as directed

No change.


*EDIT* actually scratch that, got the chants working. didnt notice my team had 4 chant slots and I had only added 3. All good now.

So if this way works, whats to stop me or other just replacing the defaults with a whole plethora of original chants?

CHUCK! We may have a workaround! :D

Sorry for the late reply, i was out of order but glad you fixed it. :)

Well, i have seen an relinker for chants included in the PES Editor for 2013 from w!Ld@, there also is a list of img/adx files that are used with slots and their teams, you can call it Chants Map too. Replacing default one's is the easiest method to get the chants as fast as possible working. I did it the way my avatar says. :laugh:

I haven't tried to relink unused slots in the img files because i don't know if they are in use by any other entries or if conflicts occur when simply filling them up. So with the slot limitation you will be forced to replace default one's and because of that fact that some teams uses the same range of slots, it's not so easy to re-arrange the complete Chants Map without having 2 teams the same new chants. :happy:

More than likely I'll have some Vuvuzela sounding chants for the African sides once I release National Teams - timescale wise, it'll be a while from now before I put out anymore packs.

Gunna enjoy the game for a bit, continue making the odd one or two here and there, then by maybe a month or two down the line I'll look to release:

Updates on the original packs (so re-edited chants to cover any sound issues / additions by request)
N-Power Championship chants,
National Team chants (most likely through packs like, EURO, AFRICA, CONCAF, SOUTH AMERICA for all the differing competitions you can play in-gameetc)
South American chants (teams in the Brazil league & Boca, River Plate or any created teams people have in OF's)
Random Team chants (any requests people have put in that I can do, I'll add new teams to the existing original packs)

[MENTION=186304]killacarrillo[/MENTION] - River, Boca - I would say YES YES YES. Most likely to do chants for those teams.

@ [P3S_F4|\|] & lexandro - appreciate the PC discussions. Sent you guys messages re the PC chants and maybe putting together a quick, easy to follow, step-by-step guide on installing chants to the PC so hope to hear back.

I keep getting a network error just as it finishes downloading any of the chant packs, i presume no one else has found this as its not been mentioned but does anyone know what could be causing it?

I would ask you a question : I'am and was a fan of Alessandro Del Piero and in future when I will do a master league I will buy him in my team and I'd love to have a chant for him .... I'd like to know if you have in your mind to create it or how I should do to do it by myself ... I don't know if it's enough have only a mp3 of it ... thanks a lot for your time. yes there are more chants for everry team .. and you will have to put each one on every single team anyway at the first page there is a video that learn to do it :) ... about the on-line I really don't know.

@ goalgerd - Yes, National Team chants will be released.

@ SterlingBear - Fraid not. Chants DO NOT work online, don't ask me why not...shame tbh cos I'm sure they did back on PES 2011!

You don't have to assign chants to every team, you can pick and choose for those teams you want to have their own chants.

On this topic - I can see from the total downloads so far that Premier League is the most popular whilst the less-popular are Portugal, Holland, Rest Of Europe....now for me, the best chants I've done are in the Rest Of Europe across all the continental teams etc, so I'd love everyone to be taking all they can and really using them to their full potential (eg/ ML, Champions League comps etc) - that said, was wondering whether to upload a pure CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PACK?

That would contain all 32 teams in the CL for 12-13 and help those who maybe just want the 'big' team chants...

@ the del peiro chants ;) - The chants are essentially edited mp3's, so if you've got one it'll probably work okay. If not or it sounds bad in-game and you need it editing let me know.

Mission tonight - set up an OF, install ALL the chants, bit of editing myself on top and get ready for a ML campaign!!! :cool:
