Hi all,
I just recently bought pes2015 and a ps3. I bought a sony ps3 controller from ebay and i think it's a fake. However, it still works but only when plugged in. Do any of you know how to fix it?

I have tried to reset it but it isn't working when disconnected unlike my original; perhaps someone has fixed this before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you try to use it wirelessly, do the 4 red lights flash for a bit before the controller dies?

yes, exactly. Any idea?
thx

I bought a controller off one of the amazon sellers and it looked a bit.... iffy. It does this sometimes, but I just play with it plugged in and it just kinda fixed itself eventually. Maybe try that?

Are you saying that it eventually started working whilst unplugged?

Charge it up/use it with the console on, pull the cable out, wait for the lights to die and then try and turn it back on with the button on the controller. A couple of knockoff models do this, the bluetooth component isn't as good as the official one. Problems with batteries are common too.

Aye.

I think the general idea is to just keep fucking about with it until it works. :)

Why not use it plugged in? Is it that big of a problem to have the cable around?

It's a genuine question, as I've always used regular PC controllers and never had any issues with the cable being there.

It's my first time using a wireless controller so i am very keen. :D

I wonder if i could buy batteries online and open the controller up to replace them....

Aye.

Cheers, will do.
