4-person match: Required network speed by the host (1st user, room owner)
Upload bandwidth: more than 384kbps
Download bandwidth: more than 256kbps

3-person match:
Upload bandwidth: more than 256kbps
Download bandwidth: more than 192kbps

2-person match:
Upload bandwidth: more than 196kbps
Download bandwidth: more than 128kbps

Required network speed by the client (participant, 2-4P)

hm, I suppose these would be the absolute minimum requirements?

I used to have a 16Mbit down / 1 Mbit up connection (not wireless) and got B/A/A ratings on the connection test. I then upgraded to a 2 Mbit upload package (also because Gears of War 2 is coming out this week) and finally got the A/A/A rating for my connection.

I think upload is a key factor in online gaming and many people automatically assume they have a symmetric line, i.e. when the download is 2Mbit the upload would also be 2Mbit but that is mostly not the case...
