no tick: is for change kits, names but the rest still the same.

second box ticked: create teams, players

I think :)

When you are in the menu of ticking boxes, the game says what changes appear if you stick

I replaced some teams of Cristiano DFL OF (Nexaca, Sporting Cristal and Melgar) by Vasco da Gama, Atletico GO and Avai FC.

-Mixed South America teams (some differences with Cristiano DFL teams) :
Club America, Cruz Azul, Emelec, Figueirense, Guadalajara, Santos Laguna, Club Libertad, Medellin, Millonarios, America Mineiro, Monarcas Morelia, Monterrey, Nacional Montevideo, Olimpia, Pachuca, UNAM Pumas, SantaCruz, SC Internacional, CA Tigres, Tijuana, Zamora, Atletico Nacional, Red Bull Brasil

Yes, only 20 teams (Konami must change it in pes 2018 and offer choice of 22 teams for MLS)

I will include it in the OF instead of Monarcas Morelia.
and after, each member will have the choice to remove teams at his own choice (replace Atlanta United in MLS instead of another MLS team or not replace and let Atlanta United in Others Latino America teams)

for which players I must reset the faces ?

because, for a lot of teams, you don't have to tick second box, and normally, the players of these teams keep their good faces if you don't tick second box
