OK, it doesn't matter if everyone agrees with some players or not. The rosters will be extended ones, so in the end you may leave some players out if you want. Let's not get too deep into that kind of argument.

I think it would be best to create teams mostly with players that already exist in PES3.
By the way, Klinsmann and (of course) Matthaus played for Bayern.

Why not make clubs with players from a certain time only???

Like Real 1950s or Man Utd 1999???

(Maybe not so recent)

My brother's big complaint about the Classic national teams is that the players all span decades, he argues for the squads that actually won the world cups/euro championships like Brazil'70, England'66, France'98, or Italy'82.

I'd love to see an option file where all clubs and players had been edited to be that club's Classic side. It might get silly looking for Hertha Berlin's best ever team, but the idea of playing Man Utd'99 vs. Liverpool'88 or Celtic'67 vs. Real'56 would be great.

Thanks for the memories!

Steve McMahon might take Wark's place in my line up, Craig Johnston (Mr. Predator) should get a mention.

I think there were really three great sides built from '76-'78ish, '80-'83ish and '87-'89.

I suppose Man Utd, Madrid, Juventus or AC Milan could say similar for the 90's through to last season.

Man Utd All-Time Eleven

[GK] Peter Schmeichel
[SB] Dennis Irwin
[CBT] Paul McGrath
[CBT] Martin Buchan
[SB] Tony Dunne
[SMF] Ryan Giggs
[CMF] Bryan Robson
[OMF] Bobby Charlton
[SMF] Steve Coppell
[FW] Dennis Law
[FW] George Best

A tough-call to miss out the likes of Stiles, Bruce, Keane, Hughes & Cantona... so I guess they're my subs... and I suppose Scholes is on the treatment table ;)

Great squad, crazyhorse.

I'd put Bestie on the wing instead of Giggs and put Eric in slightly behind Law.

Where is Duncan Edwards?
