So ive done a bit of researching across other PES forums and scoured YouTube. I am happy to say there IS a 'Classic' Master League mode which you can choose to play as an alternative to the micro-boots whatever you call it.
What they mean by classic, is up to interpretation as this is not official but I have gathered evidence.

These people have claimed there is a classic mode where you can play the 'normal' master league without the 'plain boots' debacle.
Before you get on my back for not posting in the Master League section, there is more traffic in the general discussion section so more people will get the message as Im sure no one has heard of this news yet.
