hey everyone this is my first post and i was wondering if anyone was having the same problem as me on the master league on the ps2 or any other console...

I started the master league with west ham on top player and reached the negotiations and to my horror all my friends elcherino and wiego from classic players had returned to haunt me!

so i started it again and made sure i turned classic players off... but they were there anyway! everytime i start a master league and set classic players to no, it changes itself to yes when i start it up!

its so frustrating because i hate the master league with classic players

im still lovin pes 2008 though!

can anyone help me?

Same for me. Thought I was going mad at first. The only way I've found around it is to have an option file where the classics and hidden players are still locked in the PES Shop. That way, they can't creep into the Master League and 'spoil' it.

As far as i'm aware that's the only way round it. If there aren't any classic players then they can't get into ML. It's annoying, but i guess we've got to live with it

I have 2 memory cards so I keep a PES208 option file on each. One has classics and hidden players unlocked, the other has them locked.

that's what i'm doing now :p

but i was sooo good with with the other team, before start of the first negotiation week i was first in the league and in the semifinals of the cup :realmad:

now it's getting really hard, don't know why

Man i dont mind classic players in my master league i never buy them anyway and i like it because it makes some teams alot better

I agree that it makes some teams more challenging to play against if they have classics in their line-up, but it screws up all the quick searches in the negotiations because just about all the 'future potential' players are classics.
