Clever Free-kick tactic (with video)

You need two players for this.

The person who isn't taking the kick, position yourslf in a gap in the wall. The player should fit snuggly into the gap and stay there whilst you let go of the buttons. When the free-kick is taken, the person in the wall will automatically run towards the goal which should therefore create a large between the two players he's standing next to.

The kick then takes their free-kick knowing that they can place their shot through that gap without the player that would be standing there jumping up and blocking it. Meaning you can hit it alot lower and therefore harder into the corners.

Adams sorry to burst your bubble, but if you look close enough the ball would have went in wether or not Adriano gave the defender a little nudge.

Nice goal none the less ;)

yeh, thats what my mate said to me (about the fact that it may have gone in despite being in the wall).. but i'll explain in a second.

And as someone asked was it was luck... well it was when we first found it out on PES4... we've scored many ones like it on both pes4 and 5.. so it does still definately work.

And it was on this one that c.Ron took the kick with just a millimeter under half bar, which 9 times out of 10 would hit the jumping wall. Hence why it works here. If you watch the jumpers header, it was high enough to block the shot, but because he is blocked he misses the head. so yes it does work, and has done since pes4. But still you need two players.

Dave P, trust me it works. if Adriano hadn't have been standing there, it would have been blocked... whether or not it looked like maybe the defender wouldnt have headed it away anyways.. watch a 'just under halfbar freekick' again, even if it looks like it's going over, APPARENTLY it still hits their head, even though when you slow it down it doesn't hit their head, but half a foot above their head... but still trust me, it works afecking treat.. unless you're shit at pes and don't know how to aim ya FKs
