WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS.....I'VE JUST RECORDED MY BEST COMEBACK EVER!!!!!!!!!
3-0 down to Man U at 1/2 time.....two crackers on 12 and 28 minutes from van nistelrooy and solskjaer leave the game barely within my reach.....I then had a good half dozen half chances that nothing came of.In 42nd minute Anderton (Man u) plays through a great chipped through ball which I bring my goalie to claim....with no players around him he dives and completely misses the ball,lol....wasn't funny at the time.Van nistelrooy scored the tap-in,and although I know I can sometimes make great comebacks,I was playing dire and nothing was going my way....I felt at half time that if I was going to get a draw I'd need to have scored two before 75 minutes.
The second half starts and I pile on the pressure,but don't make any subs or formation changes,as I was already playing 3-4-3.On 50 minutes a short clearance falls to turner-my dmf-and I beat the last man with a quick turn and place the ball into the side of the net,3-1. Literally straight after centre a stray ball goes to celnili(omf)and I run through with the last man miles behind,I decide to chip the advancing goalie from 20 yards....it lifts over the goalie and looks to be floating in mid height.Just as I thought it was definitely in it goes wide,and the replay shows that it clipped the post....after this it's one way traffic,and on 65 mins a mazy run ended in a low shot by my RF Kivi(weaker left foot
)going accross the keeper and into his left side.........
If I keep this up I could possibly win,provided I score before 80 minutes.On 70 mins de ja vu strikes,and a hard through ball is played to solskjaer,who,despite a slide,doesn't reach the ball,and my stretching goalie preud'homme fails to hold it as opposed to cleanly missing it like earlier .........solskjaer is up quickly,catches the ball on the by-line near enough and places a shot with the goalie still out...it seems to be missing very narrowly when I see my CB onopko slide in and go for the ball!...He misses it too!!!!!This was Man U's only chance of the second half so far and my goalie who was on a green arrow (I think) just awarded them another chance on a plate.After this Man U seemed to start knocking the ball about in order to keep posession(they done this brilliantly,something I've never even seen a CPU team try on PES3 never mind do successfully)...I manage to take control of the game again by 75 mins,getting a few half chances including a corner.....on 85 minutes when it seemed I was struggling now,I hit a hopeful shot into a packed box which hit wes rown and fell to my prolific CF shearer,who thighs it on approx the 6 yard line,and leans back and stretches when I hit the square button......and the metre goes all the way up....oh no,lol.Two defenders then slid in,and it seemed slow mo as he hit through the ball with his right foot and the ball heads upwards....and goalbound to the goalie's right....I couldn't be sure it was in until it crept barely under the bar......I was chuffed
......after this I really did pile on the pressure,and on 89 minutes,not injury time,I got the ball again with kivi,I start jinking round the box hoping for an opening,when I noticed that I have managed to suck 3 of the back four into kivi,and my makeshif LF castolo(in the absence of piliniak)is on his own 15 yards out...I play it to him,and he turns...just at that the defenders start making ground on him,and I panic,hitting square rather softly......the ball goes towards the goalie but slightly to his right,and he dives down (ricardo)rather awkwardly I tell thee,and palms the ball away.........somehow it clips the inside of the post and goes in,and the commentator starts raving on about a great comeback(the first time I'd heard it in pes3)and I realise how good it actually is.There's more.Deep into injury time,a ball accross the man U back four falls to celnili of all people(mince and is playing because he's on a red arrow and ronaldinho's on a grey)and he hits it straight at the advancing goalie followed by a clearance and then the final whistle....THE AMAZIN' END.
P.S at half time I thought I'd be posting this as my heaviest defeat.
