I have given up on this and started to do editing. However a few people are keeping it alive.

I haven't got many files left (only the ones I have uploaded: will put the links under this). However I have got the task of downloading old PES games and browsing the game for the folder with the ound files for team names. I will post them as soon as I get round to finding them.

Barclay's Premier League: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A0FD0ODD

Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Manchester City
Sunderland

Those are the teams I have personally edited to sound correct on the PS3 version of the game.

I don't think I quite know what I have gotten myself into with these files lol... sooo many.

I will try and keep my progress in the Original Post... for example 100/14341.

If I understood correctly, you are converting everything into mp3s, aren't you? Because maybe it would be easier if you used some adx player to listen to it first and choose the EPL and other league names files (I hope for Bundesliga) and then convert only these

I am converting to Wavs which takes like 2 seconds per 300 I am converting.
Then I will pick out the ones I want at first (Premier League) and then convert a few to Mp3 to test the sound quality in game...

I think this is the easiest way to do it lol...

Ok, it makes sense this way. At first for some reason I thought that you waste your time to convert every single file into mp3. stupid me, haha

No no lol... that would take forever haha.

Just found some more files of Teams said differently... fun

This could be good as we are given the option to have different audio for the club name following a goal :)

So is this commentary you are working with from John Champion?

Yup - The man himself lol.

So many sound files... but most of them are from in-game play... like for example:

" Terry has the ball "
" Manchester United have taken the lead "

Wish it was in some kind of order... but its not really :/

Need some help with the sound files I have already, I have converted them to MP3 format however they are unsupported apparently in the game... not sure what I can do to get them to work?

Can anyone advise me on this?

Can you explain what you mean by 'unsupported in the game'? It should be as simple as creating a folder on your PC and placing the separate MP3 files into that folder - copy folder to USB and then save them into your PS3 (maybe create a 'playlist' for easy access). Then in PES12 go to 'edit' / 'team' / 'name' and change from default and you should be offered your playlist selection - from here you choose the team name 'Everton' (MP3 file) and done!

Is this what you mean?

Im not sure what your method is but you could always grab a line of commentary like the ones you have listed above and then using a audio editor literally snip the team name out of the line of commentary.

So for example if the commentary says "Everton have the ball" you simply pop that audio into a program and snip out the audio that says 'Everton' and you've got it :)

If you like I am happy to work through audio files and snip team names out for you if that saves you time?

Don't lose heart :)
