Basically I'd like to see the commentators acknowledge certain teams, tournaments and rivalries (and show some real world knowledge) within the game for example;
LIVERPOOL v AC MILAN (CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL)
"We've been here before" & "Can Liverpool pull off a second Champions League win of the decade"
SHAKHTAR DONESKT V CELTIC (EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP STAGE)
"The defending champions open their campaign with a tricky first match" "Welcome to this Europa League Group A match between Shakhtar Doneskt and Celtic"
BARCELONA v REAL MADRID (LA LIGA MATCH)
"Welcome to the El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona" "This intense rivalry will sure make an exciting encounter"
The commentators should also show more knowledge of what is going on in the master league for example;
-If you have the leagues TOP SCORER commentators would say something like "Liverpool striker Torres will be the danger man for Liverpool today with 18 goals to his name already"
-If you have kept a few CLEAN SHEETS the commentator could say things like "Manchester United have been steady at the back lately and their opposition are becoming increasingly frustrated as they pile forward looking for a goal"
-If one of your players is on the verge of receiving a BAN the commentators should say something like "Carvalho will need to be careful here, as picking up another yellow card would rule him for next weeks crunch match"
-If you field a WEAKENED SIDE (determined by player stats) the commentators should comment on this by saying something like "They've decided the rest their star players due to next weeks big derby against Inter Milan"
Or if in the MASTER LEAGUE you SIGN MANY PLAYERS DURING THE TRANSFER WINDOW depending on your form the commentators could say "Well the new signings have definitely freshened up this team's style of play" (if your doing well) or-
"The managers new signings have failed to gel properly and this is showing in today's performance."
-Basically commentators need more awareness of matters off the pitch in order to add a new dimension and realism to the commentary.
But only when announcing team names only refer to the licenced sides as I don't fancy the commentator announcing "London FC v Liverpool" when I've changed London FC to Chelsea already.
