yes because blackpool is in the hall of the great teams of the world...
right up there with real madrid, inter, bayern...
man.. most people didnt even know blackpool HAD a football team.. .let alone recorded commentary...

so what i there not no inter, real ect there in the premier league and they at least deserve a few player names for commentary. If people thought like u we wouldnt really get far. idiot!
ps even a few arsenal players are missing commentary name too ie song, Ramsey,Chamackh, Vermaelen ect not very happy about that too as to me it shows that they are just fucking lazy.

Football fans, playing football games... They wouldn't know Blackpool had a football team? Matthews, Mortenson, a certatin Allan Ball (remember him?). Emelyn Hughes, Tony Green, Jimmy Armfield.

I would have thought David Carney has a commentary name as he is a starter for Australia usually and most of the Socceroos had their names in 2010?

Not everyone who buys the game supports the Madrids of this world, and only plays the madrids of this world in the game do they. It wouldn't take long to say a few Blackpool names when the commentators did there business with Konami would it. There should at least be a few names being said for every team in the game.

I must admit this kind of thing slightly spoils the game for me. None of the Wolves team has commentary to the players either. Along with a lot of rising youngsters such as Rodwell, Henderson etc...
Even some players that had commentary in PES10 haven't in 11. Why? It's been the same bloody bloke doing the commentary for years, couldn't just use the same sound clip?
It's one of my annoyances about the game, always has been.

No offense, but England is hardly the center of the footy universe, although Britons seem to think so. Most people playing PES2011 was not born in 1953 either, and lower division football is about as interesting as race walking unless you're into a specific team or from the country the league is in.
I don't suppose you've heard about Skeid Fotball?
They used to be a big club in Norway and has produced many prolific talents in the Norwegian league, Daniel Braaten, Fredheim Holm, Pa Modou Kah, Mohammed Abdellaoue.
They won the cup in 47, 54, 55, 56, 58, 63, 65 and 74 in addition to the league in 66.
So unless you know everything about obscure lower league clubs around Europe, you can't expect anyone else to do so either. Blackpool is a club of obscure renown throughout the world of football.

But Blackpool are not an obscure lower league team, they are in the Premiership... Arguably the greatest league in the world. Can hardly call them obscure can we now?
And the point of the matter is... Every club should be treated the same... At least have a few names said in commentary. As mentioned before... Not everyone supports ManU, Real, Barca etc...

Arguably, yes. I don't think so but it's down to difference of opinion.
What teams do you think appeal to the majority? ManU, ManC, Barca & Inter or Blackpool, Wigan, Rosenborg & Basel?
In an ideal world, everyone would be treated the same... but it isn't an ideal world. Now as a Blackpool supporter you should be happy that your team is even in the game for the first time, my Norwegian team (LSK) isn't.

I'm not a Blackpool supporter... I'm a Wolves supporter. Wolves get as many if not more supporters every week than half the Premier League, we have a huge history and this is our second season returning to the Premier. But we have no players with commentary.

Surley, therefore an opportunity for others to discover them. They have reached the top table, let them feast like others.
It doesn't have to be about the vast majority. PES uses the top teams, from the top divisions. That is all the teams from those divisions. Sure, most will play with MU or Barca, but if other teams are included, they deserve the same treatment/respect/share of the programmers time.
Of course I am, saves me creating them like I have done every other season :happy::happy:

I can't agree more with this part of Watty's post.
The most annoying thing is that there are two commenters but only one of them really says anything! :realmad:
why waste money on the voice of ex pro's if they can't even afford to cover the basic team sheet. A Voice actor get payed by the word, thats only 1320 words for the bare 11 in every league, just pay some random guy with a nice voice to say messi, ronaldo etc...leave the rest to the other guy
