Community Cup - can't change home and away settings

I just created a custom competition [type Group Stage] on Community Mode, I noted that Home & Away options turns automatically disabled in OFF, however, when you play the first stage and you think you are going to advance to the knockout stage you find that you NEED to play the second leg, so not just 3 games per team in the group stage, you have to play 6 matches prior to move forward... it just pissed me off... anyone was able to play custom community cup with only one leg on group stage?
