only saw MOTD and about to watch MOTD 2 now so i'll i cant really say.
thought the mersyside derby was great, awsome match from what i saw but liverpool really should have done better.
shevchenko isn't really shining for chelsea which is dissapointing
but hopefully when the wingers (robben and cole) return we can revert to the 4 - 3 - 3 like last season. Hope his goals start flying in - got £10 on him as top goalscorer!
anyone know about jimmy bullards injury? is is serious? he's been great over there past few games even tho fullham played better without him

He's out for two months.
yeh, jimmy's out for 8 weeks with dislocated knee. almost career-ending injury, complete freak accident. scott parker showed good sportsmanship, unlike that of ben thatcher! anyway, still havnt seen any of the games but champions league tomorrow, which ill take time off to watch. eboue was good for arsenal at the weekend apparently, anyone watched him? disappointing result though: 1-1 with middlesbrough. not saying middlesbrough aren't a bad side, but we could do with a win this season!

Bagrunnell, i have a new idea for the thread to get it going again.
As well as continuing with the player editing, you could edit teams. For example edit the formations and strategies of teams to make them much more realistic when playing with them or against them.
You could also mention things like captains and fk/ck takers
What does everyone think?

its a good idea but it would take a lot of time to do formations aswell as player editing

Is there much point just yet? PES 6 is out soon and the majority of people will be getting that. Or hopefully the wonderful patch by Mr. bag is making will include formations etc... hint hint

Firstly, Bagrunnel isnt doing a patch, hes doing an option file. Hes gonna put the formation tweaks and stuff in as well, which i remember him saying. I wouldn't have thought it would be much use to put up the formations now anyway, as the option file [hopefuly coming soon] will have them anyway.
Secondly, doesn't Obi Mikel look a bit overrated in that set of stats? Lots of high 70s-low 80s.
Finally, i gather most of you watched the Champions League matches last night on ITV. Chelsea - Werder Bremen was good, Essien very much shone and some decent passing from Lampard. I'm very much thinking Shevchenko's had a slow start to the season. Klose was a threat, but Chelsea should be very happy with that result. Liverpool's match with PSV was close, 0-0 but although it ended up a draw, its a good result against that opposition. PSV made some decent chances, Kone was good. Liverpool had lots of possesion, firing in a good few shots but maybe need to work on finishing.

Yeah Chelsea match was okish, as I said earlier and you said just now, Sheva isn't really shining yet but it could be down to moving countries, getting settled in and getting 100% from than injusty he had in the world cup - ankle? knee? I forget. I got £10 on him being top goalscorer!
Cant really say about Lampard, the world cup obviosly dented his confidence - Ballack now taking penalties cant help that - but I recon he'll up his game. On a positive note - Essien has been great! Been working hard and has earnt his first team place.
Liverpool match was ok too, should have played Gerrard from the start as he began to make Liverpool the stronger team. At Anfield Liverpool should win.

Manchester Utd-Arsenal and Chelsea-Liverpool on sunday. It'll be interesting to see the Chelsea lineup, now Robben is back. Manchester Utd are the on-form team atm, but Arsenal's win in midweek may give them a bit more hunger to win. Liverpool will want to get one over Chelsea.
