Where do you find a download for this "option file editor", and is it virus free? my computer has undergone maintenance for viruses and the like, so i don't want it to ruin my computer.

For any PES user with a Max Drive i would swear by it. It's a fantastic little program created by Compulsion. Theres a link in my sig to editing licensed teams kits, click on it as there is link to the PESFan Editor in there.

Thanks BlueScouse. I do have a Max Drive, but i might just download the option file onto the PESFan editor and check the stats and add them to my own option file. I don't trust myself with my max drive, and anyway i'd still want all my own edited stuff!
Gonna go try out Sissoko, the description given sounds very realistic!

Dont worry I have already contacted Blue about these issues.

IMORTANT NOTICE

I have had many people saying that they may have problems with using this file as they dont have a max drive. DONT FEAR! There is a small program you can download called 'option file editor'. This small utility is very useful as it allows you to open up option files and edit the player stats. You see how my stats are presented? That is a screengrab of the option file editor. By using this you can simply open up my file, view the players, and put the data onto your PS2 by hand.

I wouldnt recommend people to put my file on to their game by itself as it has ONLY edited stats and formations. It is those simply applied to a download of the default option file, so if you used it, al your faces, teams, players, boots, kits would be no more!

if u were on PESFAN u could download the PESFAN Editor which lets you open X-port option files Ill try 2 get the link to download it

Hey guys, hope you have all had a chance to look at Sissoko's stats, and have a little read of what I mentioned. I am quite looking forward to the Liverpool match tonight actually, will be interesting to see how they line up after our little debate on formation for them.

And his team work value has been upped to 85 now.

Anybody have anything else they want to mention about him?

I find it difficult to praise players from across Stanley Park but Sissoko is a player i admire a hell of a lot, gutted that we missed out on him but when that prick Rafa came in for him we didn't really stand a chance. You've done a great job with his stats Bagz, although i maybe would've kept his Technique as it was. Great work anyway mate.

the liverpool line up for tonight is Reina, Finnan, Warnock, Hyypia, Agger, Sissoko, Alonso, Gonzalez, Pennant, Garcia, Crouch. Subs - Dudek, Kromkamp, Gerrard, Fowler, Aurelio, Bellamy, Zenden.

If we were to play our strongest line up Bellamy would probably be up front with crouch or kuyt but kuyt is ineligble for this match because he was signed after the squad deadline but he can play in group stages if liverpool qualify

Hope you all watching our man Sissoko tonight!

Have only done a few more players today for the option file, I haev spent most of the day tweaking formations and tactics for Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. mMust have watched 20 com cs com games today!:D Its so good just seeing the little things happen. Like I have it tweaked so Lamps drops deep to pick the ball up from the defence and distributes the ball from inside his own half, and then moves up and we see him making those late runs to the box. And Ashley cole is working a treat, daunting runs down the wing and a crunch in the tackle. For me this is the most important stuff of stats, their behaviour and movements.

Will you write a growing curve someday for the players you have edited. this way the would evolve like in real life in master league

growth curves would be hard to estimate, i imagine.
I watched a lot of the Liverpool match, it was unfortunate he picked up an injury though. During the duration before that he was mainly focused in the middle of the park, rarely/never went out of position and made a lot of solid tackles. I think he'll lean more towards becoming a DMF.
I watched Sissoko on the game [PES5, not the CL] earlier, and he was fantastic! Passed it round nicely, helped out the defence, made a few little runs.. exactly like watching him in real life! Bad thing that he missed a penalty in the shootout afterwards :p Thanks for the update.
You have to stop teasing us with descriptions of the option file :p
