Computer teams are hard to beat ?

does anybody else not feel in control when playing the computer ?
I play on 6 stars and I win a fair amount of games , but i sometimes feel that I fall asleep when attacking against the computer.
I can dominate the midfield and defence , but Up front I lack any originality , I sometimes drive in a long ranger , but its very rare that i will do any skillfull passing leading to a well worked goal !

I feel frustrated !!! When i play against my friends the games are very open , mainly due to the fact that we cant defend to save our lifes . !!

Frustrated Gamer !! needs tips !!

Easy way to break down teams:
1. Pass the ball (if the ball isnt already in that position) to your defence
2. Pass the ball among your defenders, left to right, right to left etc.
3. When the opponents strikers start to close down your defence, pass the ball to the midfield
4. Look to the radar, the oppositions shape will be split up because they attacked you when passing the ball among the defence.
5. Look for a fellow teammate on the run and pass a through ball to them using triangle.
6. This ball splits the defence leaving your attacking player 1 on 1 with the keeper.
7. Finish

Please search before making threads that have been answered before.

I just wanted to know if any people get frustrated playing against the AI .
I feel that i have to give 100 % concentration and really be in the right mind set to win .

Like right now for instance, i have just started a new master league , now I always loose my first match , I dont know why but it just happens.. and when playing my first match i always have that thought in my head that i never win the first match. Its Psychological or something !!

I find it hard enough on 3*, the game cheats. full stop.

thanks for those tips lol they seem like common sense but they really work lol i had been passing the ball around before and not looking to make an attacking move.. but with your tips I just started my new master league game and have won 3 Drawn 1 and lost 2 which is good for me .!! palace ftw

What annoys me is when you dominate a team and have loads of chances, but the game doesn't let you score. Then they go up the other end and equalise or get the winner. Sometimes it seems that when the computer team want to score, there's nothing you can do to stop them.

I have a simple solution to that ! .. Turn the Console off and runaway!!

I do exactly what Singey suggested. Work the ball along the defence line, drawing their players out slowly, then hit them with killer passes through the middle.

At the beginning you still may struggle, but keep practising and brush up your skills, soon you'll be unstoppable!

I just finished my master league season today .. the tips worked really well and i felt like i was in control of each match , from an attacking point of view. I had the most shots on goal and usualy the most possesion , But that didnt stop me coming 8th lol .. i swear the computer controlled teams let me attack just so that in the last few minutes of the game they can steal a jammy winner from out of nowhere !!

I always find games against my mates are alot more open as well. The CPU will press you really hard throughout the entire match, so it feels like you never get much time on the ball to control the game. I don't think the CPU cheats - if it gave you loads of time and space on the ball we would all win every game 10-0, and we'd be moaning even more.
