Constant Purple or Blue Arrows

Not sure if this has been covered, but anyone else find that some players constantly have purple or blue arrows? I thought it was maybe down to them being dropped, but i've tried playing a few players who have constantly been on a purple or blue arrow for many consecutive matches, but it never changes! anyone know how to solve it?
I had this problem with the great youth player Shimizu. I evenyually got fed up with his purple arrow-ness and sold him to Porto. Out of spite i made sure i hacked him down good and proper next time we played them.

i seem to get this alot some times just scrape 11 players who are not blue or purple, ive got no idea i do the same as i did the last pro evo's, not playing out of possition and rotating for players who are green or above??

just for reference, When you say rest do you have to take them completely out of the team or are they ok on the bench not being uses??

I have this with one player - has had the purple arrow all season. My fitness coach is level 1 and his stamina is poor which is the reason I believe.

check the players form. if their form is 3 or below you will find they are more succeptable for being on blue or purple. i had a defender who had form of 2. and well in a whole season i managed to get 3 games out of him. rest of the time he was on bad form

fitness coach level will also have some part of it and also whether the player is happy or unhappy or brokenhearted

fitness coach level is really important, and maybe coach level too, i have them both on level 5 for this season and i have LOTS of orange and red arrows!

i also think it would help if you let a player with a blue arrow play for approximately the last 20 minutes of a match, to get his rhytm back or so. most of the times when i do that, the next week my player has a green arrow again. i only do it when i am 2 goals or more in front ofcourse...

In general i still think the arrows are too random. I understand they get blue or purple if it's a striker not having scored for a couple of games or so. But if he's on a perfect scoring streak and bam! - purple after scoring 2 goals including one of them being the winning goal in the 89th minute. Then not able to play against number 2 or 3 in the league. This has happened SO many times, and i find it unrealistic. Then i'd rather want the player to get an injury during training, instead of me actually being able to use him but knowing he'll perform shite with purple arrow, i bench him..
Also regarding the keepers. In real life we see keepers play 50 matches per season, but in pes they sit on the bench for at least 10-15 because of random arrows..

Yeah they are too random even if you players on form i think 1 of the reasons is the fitness coach or trainer if its low then your players more likely to be in shit form but i still think there more random

Yeah forgot to mention i have both coach and fitness trainer on level 5, and still i find the arrows too random. It's just annoying having someone on the bench with a purple arrow - you know in fact he CAN play but on the other side you know he probably will perform shite..

I thinkits about time they got rid of these bloody arrows.
Or at least gives the players a chance for them to change during a game?

^ Spot on. Both would work for me. I know that players in real life have their bad days, (which i think is illustrated in pes by the purple arrows) But we would never see a torres for example scoring 2 goals against chelsea then the next match against man u he's benched from the start not due to an injury.. By that i think it's too random in pes..

I like the arrows. They add a certain unknown element to the game. I look at them as fitness rather than form, not saying thats right or anything but it makes more sense to me.

When I used to play PES 2009 on PS2 I had this problem very frequently. One thing that I thought could be a factor was the competition for a position. For example, when I had like 6 SMFs in my team and almost all of them with very good stats. They seemed to become unhappy (jealous?) and they had more chance to have a blue or purple arrow.
But now in PES 2010 the fitness coach might be the trick.

They are mental arrows which is pretty much form.
I find they are unrealistic to a certain extent.
Especially if you have a star player thats blue/purple for a majority of cup matches such as the world cup.

if a player wants a transfer and you don't let him go,then he gets useless and arrow stays purple,i think, cose that's happened with me.

From my few minutes on PES 2010
-Get the best trainers: level 5 = less down arrows
-Play your players regularly
-Buy only a few players who are "superstars/household names/known throughout the world"
e.g. I have Gerrard, Aquilani, Reina, Carraggher, Torres, Mascherano, Riera. Their backups (Lucas, Plessis, Aurelio, Skrtel, Voronin) just don't hold the same clout on the transfer market and hence are less likely to get in a huff for not playing regularly. In fact, they are happy to get a game
-Top players will still perform better than "okay" players when their form is bad
e.g. Gerrard at 91 purple is probably about 80, and still better than Plessis at 65 on green, or possibly orange.
On a blue, I still will play all of my first choice players as minus 4 or 6 percent is just not significant enough to step down to the 2nd choices.
-My first season is almost over, and I've seen my first choice players on a purple probably 1ce each, maximum. Those with lesser form seem to take longer to recover. I had Stevie G injured for a week and he came back on red which was awesome. That said, I've not seen Torres on red the whole season, but he's insanely good anyway and has played every match at least 60min.
El Zhar blatantly wants to leave and last match got a free transfer tied up seemingly without my nod (wtf?) but at least I've got rid of his waste of space. He's worth over 1 mil though, could have got a nice transfer out of him. He's been purple for about 10 weeks or more.
