Continuing Saves After Oct 29th

Every time a Konami patch was released in previous years I was no longer able to continue my Master League save. It would just say my save was no longer compatible every time I tried to load it.

So on the 29th I assume the same thing will happen. Is there any way to continue a save?

I use Laim's DayOnePatch mod.

Hmmm, this is worrying for my current saved game.
Worst case is I have to start a new ML, at least all the transfers will be up to date...

Weird.... I had no problems last year with loading old MLs after a data pack was released.

I suspected this might be the case.

Though in the distant past I would use FirePatch mod, and then in recent years PESGalaxy mod. Which were hulking patches.

This year I'm hoping that if I just stick with Laim's DayOnePatch it will work. Because his patch only changes logos, kits, and names.

So sick of putting all this effort into taking some loser team out of the cellar, building them up, then having Konami step in with a patch and burn it all to the ground.

Is a patch confirmed for 29th? I believe I read it would be a data pack, would correct squad lineups, competitions and kits. I think they only need patches to fix things that are offline, online things they fix during regular/temporary maintenance...so, are we sure there will be a patch. LINK
