Hi guys, i am in need of help i am trying to get my ps4 controller to work via my pc so i can play pes on the pc i have downloaded a application called ds4 windows but it doesnt seem to bind all the keys correctly any help ? or is my best bet getting a xbox controller for the pc ?

Normally you just have to connect your controller to the PC via USB, open settings in the PES2016 installation folder, and edit the buttons in the Controller tab. No need for other programs.

Xbox controller would be the best to use on pc. But if you still want to use DS4 controller, then you do need to use an application to make it work. I use Inputmapper app to connect my DS4 to pc. It works fine for me.
But if some of the keys still incorrect, you can try to adjust it at setting apps in your PES Installation folder.
