Converting An Option File

For PS3:
erase PES 2009 gamedata 1.3 from your PS3
load the game update
ingame-download
ingame-installation
leave game
copy OF (edit-data!) you want to convert to your PS3
start game, don´t overwrite edit-data at game start
go to the editor, load OF, save it again, done.
there might be obsolete steps in this instruction, maybe you just have to do the last 3 steps when already on 1.4 but this procedure will work 100%.
beware: converting OFs 1.0 or 1.2 to 1.4 will cause damage to your file, some NT players USA/CANADA/UAE etc. will dissapear and you´ll lose some classic players as well. Another problem is that some ingame player getting malfunctional in Masterleague (like the original league B players.) Converting 1.0 OFs can bring problems with kits for all licensed CL-Teams in CL-tournament and CL-exhibition.
Converting a 1.3 OF to 1.4 should work without problems!
this way of converting the OF, will conserve all your changes on rosters, numbers and formations, but you won´t get all new players of Konami Update 1.3 and no new stats. (You can get the new 1.3 stats by manually resetting the playerstats!)
the other way of converting the file is to redo all your changes after the Konami Update mixed up all your rosters.
