Try basecopying him (Jackson Martinez) . If KONAMI keep the preset face in the game you can just release him and turn him into someone else who isn't IG (for example, someone from the Malaysian league).

Jackson Martinez and Nigel De Jong both are in their national teams so both isnt necesary to basecopy.

Good work so far guys, just remember as Charlie has pointed out a few times if a player is in a NT that has the real player names there is no need to base copy them as NT's aren't updated.
Anyone got a list of players that needed to be base copied before DP2 that will be back in DP3?

Are we certain this will work? As I've done this with Chicharito and Gio dos Santos in the hope it does. Contemplating base copying too just in case.

Yes. I had done for Chicharito, G. Dos Santos, W. Palacios and other international players. Results, no worries! After a precaution you can save them twice like that when the update takes place you will only have to check if the player is actually saved in the national team. If this is not the case, you will find it in "Other players a Create".
My only regret is to have erased L. Barrios and other players from the Brazilian championship before I realized that Konami did not keep their faces
